Sundarbans, the only mangrove forest in the world and Home of the Royal Bengal Tigers. It has become a part of the World Heritage Site. So the forest is important for nature-loving tourists. Also, it is important for naturalists, ecologists, biologists and scientific researchers. The King Cobra, the world’s longest venomous snake, is also found in the forests of the Sundarbans. Shikra birds, spotted deer, crocodiles and many more animals live in this forest. You can get more on the Sundarbans tour. There is nothing more thrilling than watching a monitor lizard across a channel, grazing deer at the end of the forest and happily fluttering colorful birds in the trees.
The best time to visit the Sundarban is from mid-November to mid-February. During this time, in the morning for a few hours there might be fog, but gorgeous fog and the migratory birds. Then the days are sunny and warm. And at night, sometimes the sky would be so clear that you would just lie down and try to find yourself among the stars.
